Super exciting news! I have partnered up with Hello DeeR to be their official boutique photographer & will be shooting all their new beautiful headbands & handmade creations. Say what?! Im super excited about this new adventure and I can't wait to see where this takes me! So with that I thought I'd share a little bit about this new shop & the amazing woman behind it! So here we go from the woman herself, her story on how she started Hello DeeR:

How Hello DeeR Started: I started Hello DeeR on accident! I never intended to start a company; the first time I sewed was not even a month ago. I have two girl friends about to have sweet little girls, and believing every baby girl needs a bow or headband {otherwise people confuse them for a boy, even in all pink} I desperately wanted to buy them some! Going to the store I was amazed at the prices of a simple headband! So like any woman {& stay at home mom} I went to Pinterest, it's amazing everything that is on there! But low and behold I found a turban headband that even I could make! I went to my local Hobby Lobby and purchased pretty basic fabric, about 1/2 yard of each {like I said I had no intention of becoming a business owner}. I showed some ladies at church & was so proud that I was being crafty, I posted some pictures on Facebook too. Overnight I had friends asking me how much I would charge!? I remember talking to my hubby and asking him what he thought, we jokingly said, "Why not make it a business from home?" After a lot of discussion with friends and family Hello DeeR emerged! It's been a whirlwind and I am honestly figuring things out as I go. Thankfully I have a fantastic support system, wonderful little DeeR's {my customers}, and a passion to allow people to look how they want without breaking the bank! & that is my biggest goal!
Events: So far {in the past month} I have registered for two events! One is to help a local rescue, ran by a wonderful woman! She takes animals to her home in hopes of them finding a forever place. She does so with her own pocket book & well, she needs back up. I am having exclusive prints for her charity that can be bought in bundles and 15% of the proceeds will be going to her. Hopefully we can do this event once a month so she steadily has help along the way. {The Rescue is called :: Nikki's Place Small Animal Refuge. I will also be apart of Bloom Boutique; This is with Crossroads Student Ministries. I am lucky to be apart of this event; it helps raise money for students who do not have the financial means to attend certain camps. It's a great way to give back to my community and to help kids that truly will have life changing experiences over the summer.
Inspiration: Honestly I just see a fabric I like and I decided to use it! I am not super creative and this business is pushing me to think outside the box {working on bows & I can honestly say I want to yank my hair out!} But, I am determined to find a way to make them & make them affordable without breaking your bank! It's a journey I am just starting, & I am so excited to see where I will go with it!
The Name: As simple as it sounds; Hello DeeR came from my Husbands nickname for me. I am his Little Deer and he is my Stag Muffin!
