{Katrina Salatas: Under the Sea} :

This has to be one of the most fun photo shoots I have ever done! Katrina Salatas is a current cosmetology student at Penrose Academy & we decided we would have some fun testing out different things make-up and photo related. & What better way to do so than turning her sister into a mermaid?! Yes; a mermaid! You can only imagine the looks we got walking around the park this evening, but we got some amazing shots, and had so much fun! I hope this really captures the detail and hard work Katrina put into this make-up. This is the youngest child I have ever photographed! But thank you mama for a happy baby!! This little girl was such a trooper in the AZ heat Sunday morning; & got up 2 hours earlier then she usually does. It was such a compliment when this mama contacted me saying she was coming in town from CALIFORNIA, & wanted some professional photos done of her daughter & she wanted ME to take them!!! Oh my goodness; STOP IT! I was so honored & excited to take on that opportunity. I hope you love them as much as I do! Your daughter is such a beautiful little girl!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DASH!

I can't believe it! Dash turned 1 years old this year on June 19, 2014. We brought him home in October of 2013 and I can't tell you how big of a blessing he has been. Since we've had him he has graduated puppy class, had his first Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, & Birthday! So much in such little time! He has seriously become Landon and I's little baby. He is the funniest thing, has the biggest personality, and can turn anyones day around. I love this dog more than anything on the planet. He has defiantly become a member of our family over the last 9 months. He is consistently spoiled and loves living at Grandpa and Grandma's house because they have a huge backyard with lots of room to play and catch bugs! HAHA. I love you Dash and am so happy you came into our lives. You have defiantly made a huge impact for us and we absolutely adore you. Happy { 1st } birthday buddy! Here's to many more!

{S: 18 Months} :

This shoot was for my giveaway winner that was chosen back last month! & Let me tell you I was so excited to do this for her! She is such an amazing mommy & her son is seriously the cutest thing on this plant. {I think I say that about every child I shoot, but really though.. he's adorable!} Of course at the very beginning of every toddler photo shoot there is that awkward moment where the child just isn't sure if they can trust you or not. They're thinking.. "Who is this lady and why does she have this huge camera taking pictures of me.. MOMMMM!" HAHA! But of course after about 10 min they totally warm up, or just need a bottle in this case. But either way I had so much fun with this photo shoot. Mom brought bubbles, which always seems to be a lifesaver! She also brought different outfits which I loved and totally suggest to everyone that they should do that!
